SNORT is one of the most interesting intrusion detection systems in the IT field. This system offers many possibilities and, in contrast to many commercial systems, SNORT is free under the GNU Public License (GPL). Many commercial systems are based on SNORT. In this workshop, the participants learn to install SNORT, set up so-called rules and to use the system efficient.

The course is a combination of presentation and workshop. The individual modules are prefaced by an introductory presentation. These are then supplemented by various “live” demonstrations and exercises.
All the participating PCs have an Internet connection, SW- Analyzer, Port scanner, IP scanner and other tools.
The participants receive comprehensive documentation. The course documentation contains copies of all documents shown in the course. The course fees include this documentation, as well as refreshment during intervals and lunch.
The course can also be carried out on the premises of your company.
